Chandvi began with a simple conviction: that the thread of Raksha Bandhan deserves to outlast the day it is tied. So we make rakhis, and silver gifts, that are meant to be kept.
Every Chandvi piece is worked in hallmarked 925 sterling silver and made to order by hand. We draw on the Jaipur tradition of hand-chasing and repoussé — the slow, careful raising of a design from the metal itself — and finish each piece by hand so its detail reads deep and true. The rakhi is tied on a ceremonial thread; when the thread comes away, what remains is an heirloom: a pendant, a kada, a lapel pin, an aarti thali carried from one year to the next.
Made to order, made to last
Because each piece is crafted individually for you, it is not pulled from a shelf. It is raised, chased, oxidised, hallmarked, signed, and dated — then sent to you insured and tracked. This is why we ask for a little time, and why what arrives is entirely your own.
Hallmarked, always
Silver purity matters to us. Every piece carries a BIS hallmark certifying 925 sterling silver, so the gift you give is exactly what it claims to be.
A gift that stays
We believe the best gifts are the ones a family reaches for again — the box opened each year, the pendant worn long after the festival. That is the Chandvi idea: not an occasion, but an heirloom in the making.
