Silver costs about ₹227 per finished gram today. It has roughly tripled in twelve months. So when a rakhi is sold at ₹699, it holds at most three grams of metal — and after making, hallmarking, the box and a shop's margin, realistically a gram and a half. That may be perfectly fine. You just have no way of knowing, because nobody prints the weight.
